All claim one god, all claim sons of abraham
Sadly I find the level of ignorance scarry. The dumbing down of the west is pathetic.How often have we heard ignorant statements like the "islamic world is immature or the muslims just need to grow up." When the christians were burning books so they could burn thier authors on the pile, muslims were developing the experimental method in science. Arab astronomers gave us the first astrolabe used for navigation. Our understanding of celestial bodies and thier movements committed to ilkian tables when the west was defending the flat earth. Chemistry in europe would not exist if not for arabs. Geometry, trigonometry, and algebra all arab contributions.
It is frustrating and should be alarming to all of us how little we know of the world and its cultures. How very arrogant and at the same time you have to feel pity for a large part of the youth of the U.S.A.
How can we ever hope to defeat murdering criminals like bin laden? We don't know our enemy. How can we ever survive in so small a world? With so much information at hand ,still we understand less and less.
